Carrie a young religious fundamentalist is abandoned by her missionary father and has to move in with her mother who came-out-of-the-closet and married another woman. Not only that, but they have a biological child, Tia. The story takes place over the first two days at a strange new house, as Carrie's new parents leave for a business trip, she must take care of her stepsister.
